Whether you live here all year or just for the season, the desert asks a lot of your legs.
If you live here year-round
Summer afternoons top 100 degrees, so errands get squeezed into the early morning, and every walk across a sunbaked parking lot feels longer. Before long, you're skipping the Date Festival and evenings in Old Town.
A mobility scooter carries you from the car to the door quickly and without the strain, in any season. We'll help you choose, then arrange delivery and set-up at home.
If you're here for the season
You came for sunshine, golf and a full social calendar. But the clubhouse, the pool and your friends' homes are spread across the community, and the walking adds up fast.
Rent a scooter by the month for your stay, or take a folding or travel model home with you when the season ends. We'll arrange delivery to your winter address.
Which scooter fits your desert life?
Pride scooter families compared. Select a family to see its models.
Many Indio residents split the year between the desert and somewhere else, and a scooter that doesn't fold is hard to bring along. Casitas and 55-plus homes rarely have room for a bulky scooter, either. Folding scooters collapse in one piece and stow upright or flat, ready for the car and the trip home.
Go Go Super Portable
Model SC15MMSRP $3,569
Your seasonal place is small, and there's no room for a scooter that won't fold.
The Go Go Super Portable folds to just 12 inches high without removing the seat, and Charge360 magnetic charging makes plugging in simple.
Between golf, lunches and appointments, your days are long, and the battery needs to keep up.
The i-Go comes with all-day power, speed and versatility to take you there and back again. Pride classifies the i-Go as a personal vehicle, not a medical device.
In the Coachella Valley, almost every errand begins with the car: the store on Highway 111, a doctor's visit, lunch in Old Town. If lifting a scooter into the trunk is a struggle, you stay home. Pride's Go Go series takes apart into pieces light enough to lift and fits in most trunks.
Go Go Elite Traveller Gen 3 Platinum
Model SC443EMS - 12AHMSRP $1,921
Desert evenings are the best time to be out, but walking back to the car in the dark makes you uneasy.
Front and rear pathway lights brighten your path, a modern deck gives your legs room, and the angle-adjustable tiller fits your reach. EZ Turn Technology and Charge360 magnetic charging are included.
Taking a scooter apart in a hot driveway is the last thing you want to do.
Feather-touch disassembly separates the pieces quickly with a light touch, and EZ Turn, Charge360 and an angle-adjustable tiller make the ride easy, too.
Four wheels feel safer, but narrow aisles make you worry about turning around.
Pride's patented EZ Turn Technology gives this scooter what Pride calls the best turning radius in the industry, so four-wheel stability comes with easy turns.
The Date Festival, an evening at the Indio Performing Arts Center or a day around the clubhouse asks more of a scooter than a quick errand. A hard seat and a short battery can end the day early. Full-size scooters add comfort, a smoother ride and more range.
Victory Platinum
Model SC710PLA - U1MSRP $3,599
Stiff fingers fumble with small charging plugs, and rough pavement leaves you sore.
Charge360 connects magnetically, robust suspension smooths the ride, and a convenient lever adjusts the tiller. It is made in the U.S.A. with foreign and domestic parts and includes EZ Turn technology.
Desert sand, gravel lots and festival grounds can stop a standard scooter, and a larger rider on a small scooter never feels secure. Heavy-duty and outdoor scooters bring the power, tires and suspension to go with confidence.
Maxima 3-Wheel
Model SC901MSRP $4,536
Standard seats feel narrow, and you never feel fully secure.
The Maxima 3-Wheel offers a large, deep seat and an ergonomically enhanced design, with a bariatric rating of up to 500 lbs.
Prices are Pride Mobility's MSRP as of September 2026 and may change. Call for our current price, and ask about monthly rentals and used scooters at half the regular price.
Questions from Indio customers
Do you deliver mobility scooters to Indio?
Yes. Call us to schedule delivery to your home in Indio or anywhere in the Coachella Valley. We'll set up your scooter, show you how to use it and arrange service after the sale.
I'm a snowbird. Can I rent a scooter for the season?
Yes. We rent scooters by the day, week or month, so you can rent for exactly the months you're in the desert. Call before you arrive, and we'll arrange delivery to your winter address.
Can I take my scooter home when the season ends?
Folding and travel scooters are the easiest to take with you. Tell us what you drive, and we'll recommend a model that fits your trunk.
How do scooters handle the desert heat?
Charge and store your scooter indoors, out of direct sun, since extreme heat is hard on batteries. Park in the shade when you can, because seats and armrests get hot in the sun.
How far is your showroom from Indio?
Our showroom is at 907 N. Hollywood Way in Burbank, roughly 150 miles away, so most Indio customers choose by phone. Tell us where you ride, how far you go and your height and weight, and we'll recommend the models that fit.
Do you offer financing or used scooters?
Yes. You can finance a new scooter or buy used at half off the regular price, subject to stock. We also buy, sell and trade.
Does Medicare cover a mobility scooter?
Some Pride scooters may qualify for Medicare coverage when medically necessary and prescribed. Coverage depends on your situation, so call us and we'll explain your options.
