Surf City was made for being outside. Here's what changes when walking gets hard.
ThenNow
Then: You walked the pier end to end, stopping to watch the surfers.
Now: You watch from a bench near the entrance, or from the car.
Then: Saturday meant Main Street, lunch and a slow stroll home.
Now: You go straight to one shop and straight back to the car.
Then: Evenings ended with a walk around Central Park.
Now: Evenings end in front of the television.
A scooter gives you the “then” back
An electric mobility scooter covers the distance, so Main Street, the park and the waterfront are part of your week again. We'll help you choose, then arrange delivery and set-up at your home in Huntington Beach.
Three questions to your perfect scooter
Pick one answer for each, and we'll show you where to start.
Full-size mobility scooters
An afternoon at Pacific City, a stroll on Main Street or a day at Central Park asks more of a scooter than a quick errand. A hard seat and a short battery can send you home before the sunset. Full-size scooters add comfort, a smoother ride and more range.
Revo 2.0 3-Wheel
Model S66MSRP $2,765
Tight hallways and small kitchens make turning a scooter around a chore.
Three-wheel scooters typically turn more tightly and give you more legroom, and the Revo 2.0 adds rugged dependability and feather-touch disassembly.
Stiff fingers fumble with small charging plugs, and rough pavement leaves you sore.
Charge360 connects magnetically, robust suspension smooths the ride, and a convenient lever adjusts the tiller. It is made in the U.S.A. with foreign and domestic parts and includes EZ Turn technology.
Most Huntington Beach errands start with the car, whether it's Bella Terra, a doctor's visit or lunch downtown. If lifting a scooter into the trunk is a struggle, you end up staying home. Pride's Go Go series takes apart into pieces light enough to lift and fits in most trunks.
Go Go Ultra X 3-Wheel
Model S39MSRP $1,525
You want a dependable scooter without paying for features you won't use.
The Go Go Ultra X has the lowest MSRP in Pride's lineup and still includes one-hand disassembly and a drop-in battery box.
Four wheels feel steadier, but crowded shops make you worry about turning around.
Pride's patented EZ Turn Technology gives this scooter what Pride calls the best turning radius in the industry, so four-wheel stability comes with easy turns.
Sunset is the best part of a Surf City day, but walking back to the car in the dark makes you uneasy.
Front and rear pathway lights brighten your path, a modern deck gives your legs room, and the angle-adjustable tiller fits your reach. EZ Turn Technology and Charge360 magnetic charging are included.
Condos, beach cottages and mobile homes rarely have room for a scooter that doesn't fold, and taking one apart for every trip gets tiring. Folding scooters collapse in one piece and stow upright or flat, ready for the closet, the car or a vacation.
Go Go Super Portable
Model SC15MMSRP $3,569
In a beach condo or mobile home, there's no room for a scooter that won't fold.
The Go Go Super Portable folds to just 12 inches high without removing the seat, and Charge360 magnetic charging makes plugging in simple.
Your days are full of errands and visits, and a weak battery shouldn't end them early.
The i-Go comes with all-day power, speed and versatility to take you there and back again. Pride classifies the i-Go as a personal vehicle, not a medical device.
The trails at Bolsa Chica, the lawns at Central Park and uneven paths near the water can stop a standard scooter, and a larger rider on a small scooter never feels secure. Heavy-duty and outdoor scooters bring the power, tires and suspension to go with confidence.
Baja Bandit 4-Wheel
Model BA140 - 20AHMSRP $4,144
You've always been happiest where the pavement ends.
The Baja Bandit is an outdoor mobility scooter for the bold and the daring, built for the world beyond the road more traveled.

Can I ride a scooter near the beach?
Beachfront paths often have local rules for motorized devices, and sand and salt air are hard on scooters. Stay on paved paths, wipe off salty grime with a damp cloth, and store your scooter indoors. Check the city's rules for the path you plan to use.
Will a scooter work in a mobile home park?
Usually, yes. It makes trips to the clubhouse, the mailboxes and your neighbors easy again. Compact three-wheel and EZ Turn models handle narrow spaces well. Check your park's rules on scooter use and storage, and we'll help you choose.
Can I rent a scooter for visiting family?
Yes. We rent scooters by the day, week or month, which works well for family visits, vacations and recovery after surgery.
Do you offer financing or used scooters?
Yes. You can finance a new scooter or buy used at half off the regular price, subject to stock. We also buy, sell and trade.
Does Medicare cover a mobility scooter?
Some Pride scooters may qualify for Medicare coverage when medically necessary and prescribed. Coverage depends on your situation, so call us and we'll explain your options.
