Is it time for a scooter? If any of these sound familiar, it might be.
You check for benches before you agree to go anywhere.
If the parking spot isn't close, you'd rather not go in at all.
You've missed a show on Grand Avenue or a day at the Safari Park because of the walking.
You say "you go ahead" more often than you used to.
Your errands wait until someone else has time to drive you.
Your world is quietly getting smaller, and you've noticed.
Every one of these has the same answer
An electric mobility scooter takes the long walk out of every outing, so you can start saying yes again. Choose your model here with our help by phone, and we'll arrange delivery and set-up at your home in Escondido.
Most Escondido outings begin with the car: Westfield North County, a doctor's appointment, lunch on Grand Avenue. If lifting a scooter into the trunk is a struggle, you end up staying home. Pride's Go Go series takes apart into pieces light enough to lift and fits in most trunks.
Go Go Elite Traveller Gen 3 Platinum
Model SC443EMS - 12AHMSRP $1,921
A show downtown ends after dark, and the walk to the car on uneven sidewalks makes you tense.
Front and rear pathway lights light the way, a modern deck gives your legs room, and the angle-adjustable tiller fits your reach. EZ Turn Technology and Charge360 magnetic charging are built in.
Wrestling scooter pieces in and out of the car leaves you worn out before the outing starts.
Feather-touch disassembly lets you separate the pieces with a light touch, and EZ Turn, Charge360 and an angle-adjustable tiller make the ride easy, too.
You want four wheels under you, but tight aisles and doorways make turning a worry.
Pride's patented EZ Turn Technology gives this scooter what Pride calls the best turning radius in the industry, so four-wheel stability comes with easy turns.
Many Escondido seniors live in mobile home parks, condos or homes with packed garages, where there's no spare corner for a scooter. Taking one apart for every trip gets old quickly. Folding scooters collapse in one piece and stow upright or flat.
Go Go Super Portable
Model SC15MMSRP $3,569
In a mobile home or small condo, a scooter that doesn't fold has nowhere to go.
The Go Go Super Portable folds to just 12 inches high without removing the seat, and Charge360 magnetic charging makes plugging in simple.
Your days are full of errands and visits, and a battery that fades by afternoon holds you back.
The i-Go comes with all-day power, speed and versatility to take you there and back again. Pride classifies the i-Go as a personal vehicle, not a medical device.
A performance at the California Center for the Arts, a day at the Safari Park or an afternoon on Grand Avenue asks more of a scooter than a quick errand. A hard seat and a short battery can end the day early. Full-size scooters add comfort, a smoother ride and more range.
Victory Platinum
Model SC710PLA - U1MSRP $3,599
Stiff fingers fumble with small charging plugs, and bumpy roads leave you sore.
Charge360 connects magnetically, robust suspension smooths the ride, and a convenient lever adjusts the tiller. It is made in the U.S.A. with foreign and domestic parts and includes EZ Turn technology.
Escondido sits in a bowl of hills, with steep neighborhood streets, lake trails at Dixon and grassy parks like Kit Carson. A standard scooter can strain on grades and rough ground, especially under a larger rider. Heavy-duty and outdoor scooters bring the power, tires and suspension to handle them.
Maxima 3-Wheel
Model SC901MSRP $4,536
Standard seats feel narrow, and you never feel quite secure.
The Maxima 3-Wheel offers a large, deep seat and an ergonomically enhanced design, with a bariatric rating of up to 500 lbs.
Prices shown are Pride Mobility's suggested retail prices as of September 2026 and may change, so call for our current price. Used scooters are half off the regular price, subject to stock.

How far is your showroom from Escondido?
Our showroom is at 907 N. Hollywood Way in Burbank, roughly 130 miles away, so most Escondido customers choose by phone. Tell us where you ride, how far you go, your height and weight and the car you drive, and we'll recommend the models that fit.
Which scooters handle hills best?
Hills are part of life in Escondido. Full-size and heavy-duty scooters generally handle grades better than lightweight travel models, and four wheels add stability on slopes. Describe the hills on your usual routes, and we'll recommend a model with enough power for them.
Can I bring a scooter to the Safari Park or other attractions?
Many attractions welcome personal mobility scooters, and some rent them on site. Policies vary, so check with the venue before you go. A travel or folding scooter makes getting there much easier.
Should I choose 3 wheels or 4?
Three wheels usually give more legroom and a tighter turn indoors. Four wheels add stability on slopes and rough ground. Pride's EZ Turn models give you four-wheel stability with a much tighter turn.
Do you offer financing, rentals or used scooters?
Yes. You can finance a new scooter, rent one by the day, week or month, or buy used at half off the regular price, subject to stock. We also buy, sell and trade.
Does Medicare cover a mobility scooter?
Some Pride scooters may qualify for Medicare coverage when medically necessary and prescribed. Coverage depends on your situation, so call us and we'll explain your options.
